How to join and how much it costs

Membership Fees
Membership costs £50 for the 2019/20 year which entitles members to:

10 talks by world class lecturers (approved by The Arts Society) illustrated digitally or with slide and free wine or soft drinks after the talk and The Arts Society Quarterly Review magazine.

Our programme year starts on 1 June each year.  If you join after 1st December, then the membership charge is £25.

People under the age of 18 or in full time education can attend our talks free.

Study days and visits are charged separately.

Visitors are welcomed at a maximum of two lectures in a year and the charge is just £5 but this is offset against the annual membership fee if the guest then joins the society.
How to join
Joining is easy!  Simply fill in an Application Form (obtainable at the sign in desk)when next you attend a lecture. Application  forms are also obtainable from John Hawkes or Sheila Newbury.

Your membership fee can be paid by:
cash cheque standing order.  We do encourage members to use a standing order as this reduces our bank charges.

If you are a UK tax payer, we also ask you to consider filling in a Gift Aid Declaration. This provides money both to NADFAS and Sparkenhoe Arts Society.
